  1. This is the first time I've ever had someone else colour my inks, and I love it! You look at it and think 'They've done something there I'd NEVER think of!' - which is a good thing, as it's made me look at things with fresh eyes.
    Nice one Jim!

  5. It is a lovely page - Matt pulled of a great bit of visual storytelling which works just as well without any words (helped by the move away from talking heads, naturally) and Jim really stepped up to the plate and, despite protestations of a shortfall in the crayoning department, he did a bang up job!!

  6. This is a great page. My previous comment seems to have vanished, but it's always nice to have someone else's take on your own work - even through colouring.

  9. Thanks guys for the comments. Having lived with it for a while now I feel the needy to reiterate that the page is really lifted by Jim's colouring job.

  10. GQ: To be fair, I don't think Jim knew he could colour that well either, or he is being much more humble than he usually is ;)

  11. If anyone is interested they can see a slightly tweaked coloured version here following a bit of colouring consultation.

  12. And that recoloured version is now the current version, see the link I gave in the previous comment for the older one and the thinking behind the changes.
