Its all slightly embarrassing this week - Jim and I get a credit for this despite there being only a single (and truncated) line of dialogue. James did all the hardwork this instalment, even providing a vomitous sound effect, and it pays off in spades.
It's just excellent. I didn't envy James with this page of the script as getting it to err... flow (sorry), must've been harder than it looks. Good work indeed.
Thanks guys, though I have a persistent niggle I should let one of you guy's colour my pages in future. That said I still rather like panel 4 and Jamie's washed out look.
We are few, but the ideas are manifold, and the intentions probably far beyond our capabilities... The Emperor drives a knackered old bus whilst five dangerous drawing types throw visual roadblocks, chicanes and sleeping policemen at him - will it end up in a ditch? Almost certainly... but it should be an interesting ride.

ReplyDeleteOnly one more page to go in this arc and then...
That BLEEEEUUURGGHH! is fantastic. The letters look like they're made of sick! Another corker James.

ReplyDeleteErr, I of course meant panel 5.
ReplyDeleteIt's a fine page James... I'll echo what the learned gentlemen above have said about the great wording of "BLEEEEUUURGGHH!" you have there.
