Literally awe-inspiring and a clear sign I will have to dial everything up a couple more notches to give you more challenges to aim for (I reckon I can manage that for a year or two without cracking from the strain, we'll just see who breaks first!! ;) ).
Oh and it is worth highlighting that Jim is being given more room to flex his lettering muscles and it is really on show here - I'm sure there will be plenty more opportunities as things progress.
We are few, but the ideas are manifold, and the intentions probably far beyond our capabilities... The Emperor drives a knackered old bus whilst five dangerous drawing types throw visual roadblocks, chicanes and sleeping policemen at him - will it end up in a ditch? Almost certainly... but it should be an interesting ride.
Great stuff Conor, finally we're out of/in? the toilet. Wonderful colours really got me fired up to see what comes next.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful and entertaining stuff.
ReplyDeleteIt's really cool to be part of something where everyone keeps putting their all into it.
This is something else! How the hell are we all supposed to follow that?!?
ReplyDeleteYou all have my utmost confidence that you can pick up the ball and run with it. No pressure ;)

ReplyDeleteA thing of beauty - saw it as a work in progress and thought it was kinda special but all credit to Jim for some really imaginative lettering.....
ReplyDeleteBest page yet, from an artistic standpoint. Best...page...yet.
ReplyDeleteComic is looking great.
ReplyDeleteKev, your previous page reminds me a little of Bryan Talbot.
